"The page you requested is invalid" during blog creation

This annoying message "The page you requested is invalid" had been appearing every time I pressed the button to create a new blog in blogger.

I teared up the address to parts and the first part "https://accounts.google.com/IdvChallenge?idvContinueHandler=SERVICE" had to do with phone verification. It took me to this page

and I verified my account. Now the new blog is up and running. Hope it helps
